INCOME TAX RETURN

Additional conditions for mandatory filling of Income-tax return vide CBDT notification dated 21 April 2022.

It is mandatory to file your ITR if any of the conditions mentioned below are applicalbe to you:

Your total sales / turnover / gross receipts from business exceeds INR 60 lakhs during the previous year
Your total gross receipts from profession exceeds INR 10 lakhs during the previous year
Deposit in one or more savings account in aggregate is INR 50 Lakhs or more during the previous year
Your were subject to tax deducted at source or tax collected at source in aggregate for INR 25000 or more during the previous year. However, in case of resident individual senior citizen (i:e; age of 60 years or more) the aggregate amount should be INR 50000 or more during the previous year.
